CHEF’S KIT

2008

CHEF’S KIT is a set of porcelain wares – large porcelain dish and a number of separate elements of different size and shape – designed for fine dining experience. According to the dishes cooked, one can choose elements from the set and assemble them on the surface of the plate. Diverse range of borders, containers and enclosures allows not only to divide the surface of the plate in zones to prevent mixing of incompatible parts of the course but they also help to create original compositions. Arrangements of the elements are only limited by one’s imagination and will never make either chef or consumer bored.
The collection was made as a part of the “Serving forms” project – a collaboration between Bergen National Academy of the Arts and Porsgrund Porcelain Factory (Norway), supervised by Marek Cecula and Anthony Quinn.

The project was selected for the exhibition 300+X in Porzelannikon, Germany.
