BUTTONS cups

BUTTONS’ unusual design emerged through exploration of alternative ways of holding a cup with a hot drink. To get away from a classical ear-shape handle I have tried out several different concepts (see NO MORE HANDLES), and this one proved to be the most successful. Here the knobss serve not only as a decoration (3D polka dots) but also as holding points – the position of the knobs allows to rest one’s fingers on them and embrace the cup without touching its hot surface.
